How does The Flower Project Work?

The concept behind the service is straightforward. After you sign up, The Flower Project will regularly deliver fresh flowers from that mornings market to your door.

You can choose how often you would like these fresh flowers to arrive (weekly, fortnightly or monthly). The price for this service starts at $45 and goes up from there.

You can have these delivered on a market day of your choice: Monday or Friday.

You don't have to be home for us to deliver, we can either wet wrap the flowers or leave a vessel with water at the door which we will put the flowers in.

The Flower Project is a subscription service. The minimum subscription is for 4 deliveries in order for you to sample the full experience of The Flower Project. You can cancel or pause at any time after your first 4 deliveries, we just ask that you give us one weeks notice.

Where do you deliver to?
The Flower Project service is currently available within Auckland, New Zealand We will deliver to your home or workplace - see our delivery area here
Our delivery zone expands as we grow - if you subscribe but live outside our central delivery zone, expect a call from us to discuss terms of your delivery which will incur a delivery fee. We can alternatively deliver to a more central location free of charge
How do payments work?
We currently accept the following payment methods - Credit/Debit Card (VISA, Mastercard & AMEX) - Bank Transfer (Automatic Payment) For debit/credit card please use the secure checkout feature on our website - payments will be taken automatically from your card prior to your delivery. You can cancel/suspend your payments by contacting us here If you wish to pay by Automatic Payment then please contact us at letting us know which selection, market day and frequency you would like. We will then send you the details to set this up with your bank
Why do you only deliver on certain days?
One thing that is very important to us is freshness - that is why we only deliver on days when there is a market - currently Mondays or Fridays.
What if I have an aversion to some types of flowers?
Don't worry! If you can't stand or are allergic to certain blooms then just let us know and we will make sure they aren't included in any selections you receive. There's an option to tell us when you checkout
What if I want to give a subcription as a gift for only a certain period of time?
If you are giving a subscritpion as a gift and you only want to subscribe for a certain period (e.g. 6 months) then just let us know in the 'further details" box at checkout and we will sort it for you. Alternatively, as there is no minimum contract, you can just cancel the subscription when you are ready.
How do I change the frequency of my deliveries?
If you would like to change your delivery frequency (e.g. switch from monthly to fortnightly) then you can do this by logging in to your account and switching your subscription option. Alternatively, just contact us at and we can change it for you
I'm going away! What do I do?
Lucky you! If you are going away you have two options.
  • You can pause your subscription by logging in to your account or contacting us at - if you pause the service yourself you will need to resume it when you return.
  • Alternatively, you could donate your delivery to someone else, a loved-one, a friend or a relative (provided they live in our delivery area) just let us know at least 2 days in advance and we will make it happen!
